(ORDO NEWS) — Specialists from Seoul National University published a material on how to fall asleep faster using ordinary socks.
According to scientists, for this it is enough to wear socks on the leg at night. In this case, the body temperature will be lowered, and this, in turn, contributes to a comfortable sleep.
In order to come to a similar conclusion, the researchers conducted an experiment with the participation of a special group. Test participants slept at a temperature of 23 degrees.
At the same time, they fell asleep 7.5 minutes faster in socks than with bare feet.
Interestingly, the socks helped not only fall asleep faster, but also 7.5 times less likely to wake up during the night, as well as get 7.6% more efficient sleep.
At the same time, experts clarified that this method may not be suitable for older people. It is also not recommended to wear socks for those who have problems with blood circulation.
