(ORDO NEWS) — There are so many people in the world who suffer from changes in the weather. This negatively affects both their standard of living and their ability to work. Frequent migraines, irritability, loss of strength, and this is just due to the approaching rain or wind.

Neuropathologist Alexandra Sherbet told how to deal with meteorological dependence. This is reported by TSN.

The body’s response to weather changes can manifest itself in everyone in different ways: “twists the joints”, pressure jumps, dizziness, migraines, nausea, etc. A person can stay in this state for a day or more. Alexandra explained why the body reacts so sharply to changes in the weather, and what to do about it.

First of all, any weather changes lead to surges in blood pressure in the vessels. If a person has a disturbed vascular tone (for example, varicose veins), he cannot adapt so quickly to new conditions.

The longer the adaptation takes, the longer the brain starves, because due to impaired blood circulation, it does not receive oxygen. This becomes the cause of poor health. Chronic diseases, frequent stress, bad habits are factors that negatively affect vascular tone.

The doctor recommends strengthening the body comprehensively, and pills should be an extreme measure for relieving symptoms. Swimming is very useful, it will increase the load on the heart, improve blood flow.

If you cannot afford a pool, then there is another great alternative – a contrast shower. Massage of the cervical spine will relieve hypertonicity and restore blood flow to the brain. Alexandra also advises walking more in the fresh air, including bananas, apples and Brussels sprouts in the diet.

Refusal from bad habits, good sleep and rest are the best friends in the fight against weather dependence, the expert says.
