How much coronavirus is kept in the air
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — US experts have decided to find out how long the coronavirus stays in the air. They conducted an experiment: they asked volunteers to pronounce various phrases, and special lasers measured how long microdrops would last in the air, PNAS magazine writes about the results.
It turned out that in a minute of a loud conversation, at least 1000 micro-droplets are formed, which stay in the air for more than 8 minutes, and in some cases up to 14.
Experts clarify – the study did not take into account air movement, temperature changes and other factors.
