Hot New: Diablo 4 burns RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards
(ORDO NEWS) — The beta version of Diablo IV became available last weekend. And while some gamers play it and enjoy life, others suffer because of a burned-out video card. Yes, netizens have been complaining that Blizzard’s new game is bricking their RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards.
According to the author of the first such message, he played the beta for no more than 20 minutes, and then the monitor suddenly just turned off. After rebooting the system, the motherboard began to issue error code 97 – his video card, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Vision, “died”.
Other netizens wrote that they experienced the same display blackout, or the fans on their video cards suddenly turned on at full capacity, and only after rebooting the system did the situation return to normal. It turned out that the author of the original post was not alone with his problem.
The reason for this strange behavior of the computer may have been found. Gamers noticed that all this happened, firstly, on video cards of the 30th series. Secondly, in the game settings they set the “unlimited” frame rate.
Blizzard has yet to come out with an official comment on this situation. Whether it will be is another question.
