Horizontal skyscraper in Saudi Arabia continues to be built
(ORDO NEWS) — In early 2021, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved the construction of a giant “lying skyscraper” that will house up to nine million people.
The building-metropolis, according to the prince, will become the most environmentally friendly in the world.
Work on the construction of the “Mirror Line” 170 kilometers long, half a kilometer high and only 200 meters wide is moving forward with might and main.
In Saudi Arabia, workers and technicians continue to dig the foundation for a city-building, every day bringing the project closer to reality.
The new images show the scale of the construction – dozens of pieces of equipment are drilling piles for the foundation, delivering concrete, removing soil, and all this happens day and night, around the clock.
