(ORDO NEWS) — Each family keeps the fond memory of the relatives and friends who have gone to a better world. We remember them, because they need our memory. And they remember us, even take care of the rest in their own way. Most often, departed loved ones come to us in dreams, and it is important to understand their signals to the living. Probably, each of us can tell his own exciting and instructive story about the invisible and still unknown connection between the two worlds.
Pan Xenovia’s Promise
There is a city of Tlumach in the Ukrainian Carpathian region. And in this city, quite recently, there lived a certain Pan Zenoviy N (Zenoviy, in abbreviated form Zenyk – the Western Ukrainian version of the name Zinoviy, – ed.). He, deeply religious and hard-working, was known and respected by the townspeople. He was a worker, and for additional income he raised nutria, the demand for skins and meat of which never fell. Xenovy was known as a thrifty man, saved up money – he understood that his grandson should get a good education, and his wife and daughter should live with dignity.
Xenovy died at the age of 82 in May 2011 from throat cancer. He could no longer speak for the last two weeks of his life, but shortly before his voice disappeared, he managed to say strange words to his wife. First, he asked her not to be frightened if he suddenly came to visit at night. He also said that he had hidden a significant amount of money – for the study of his grandson. Xenovius passed away the day after Easter.
Ghost guest
After the funeral, the relatives looked for the money mentioned, but found nothing. Even the stove in the house was tapped – alas. But then the incredible began. On the ninth day after his death, Pan Xenovy appeared in a dream to his wife. She, according to her own recollections, reproached her husband: where. pier put all the documents, the house book, because the house needs to be reissued, and where the documents are, no one knows. And Zenyk responded and said: “Go into the closet, there are all the papers in the folder under the sack of corn.” Not believing herself, wife Xenovia with her daughter Lyuba and grandson Bogdan went to the closet. There really were documents under the heavy sack. Finding them without a hint would be simply impossible.
On the eve of the fortieth day after his death, Xenovius came back to his wife in a dream. He calmed him down, said that in the new world he felt good, that after repentance God forgave him and let him see the unheard-of beauty of another world. In the next visit of her husband, the wife could not stand it and asked him: is it true that he hid the accumulated money, and if so, where? The husband replied that he had buried the money in the garden, under the apple tree there was a white filling, and the place was marked with a wire stuck in the ground. Grandson Bogdan, a student at five minutes. at the request of my grandmother, I took a shovel and went into the garden. After a while, worried, he returned: he dug out a huge jar, in which lay tight bundles of one hundred dollar bills, wrapped in cellophane. The women were speechless. Now it was possible to pay for Bogdan’s upcoming five-year study at the institute.
The next time Pan Xenovy said that he had hidden a lot of money in hryvnias … Now his wife and daughter are waiting for him to reveal his secret. After all, the family is not rich, and they really need money.
Above vanity and temptation
However, for all the improbability of this story, such cases are not uncommon. Probably one of the first recorded in the Kiev-Pechersk Patericon, compiled back in the 15th century. So, the Kiev-Pechersk monk Fyodor had a dream: in a certain place in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, a large treasure was buried. Arriving at the place indicated in the vision – one of the Lavra caves – he began to dig and stumbled upon a treasure, as it is said in the patericon, “Latin vessels”, which contained “countless gold and silver.” Seeing the treasures, Fyodor thought that it was the devil himself who was tempting him with wealth, and he buried the treasure again, but in a different place. The Kiev prince found out about the find, who ordered to seize the monk and bring him to his place. But no matter how the prince asked, no matter how he tortured the monk, he did not reveal the secret of the hidden gold. It seems that to this day this treasure lies somewhere in the Lavra caves.
There are also curious incidents associated with the secrets of the treasures revealed by the dead. In the town of Baryshevka, not far from Kiev, an acquaintance of mine buried an old mother. I must say that he is a heavy drinker, and on this basis, he and his mother always had conflicts. After the funeral, my mother came to my friend in a dream and said that she forgave him. And also – so that he does not spend nine and forty days on the commemoration – she, they say, will tell him where she hid the bottles of moonshine. And indeed, before nine days, she, reappearing in a dream, pointed out the place in the garden where the first huge bottle was buried (which they found), and before forty days she revealed the secret of where to look for the second. It would seem a curiosity. But after these dreams, the man stopped drinking altogether, realizing that there are forces that are higher than earthly vanity and temptations.
Help from parents
A similar case was with my childhood friend Alexander Ch. From Kiev. At the time of graduation from high school, the grandparents with whom he lived (Alexander’s parents died in a car accident) were told that their dilapidated house would be demolished and they would be given a new apartment. And after the news of the upcoming changes in the dream, my father and mother came to my friend and asked him not to rush to pack his things before moving, but to carefully examine their dilapidated housing, literally knock on everything. This could be useful to him in the future. Alexander did just that. The dream was prophetic. In the old pre-revolutionary house there was a wood-burning stove that had not been working for a long time. It was in it that Sasha found a cache with a huge amount of gold ducats between the bricks. The treasure, as expected, he handed over to the state. But the put 25% of the value of the treasure to the guy who found it was enough to move to a new apartment,
It remains only to thank our intercessors who remember us.
And we must not forget about them. Indeed, it is thanks to them that we, the living, are convinced again and again that apart from our physical world there is another world.
