(ORDO NEWS) — An outbreak of highly pathogenic H5N2 avian influenza has been recorded on a farm in eastern South Africa.
This was reported on Monday by Reuters, citing the World Organization for Animal Health.
According to data she received from South Africa, 58 birds were found on the farm that died from H5N2 influenza.
Local authorities are taking the necessary measures to prevent the outbreak from spreading.
