Guitarist Slayer and Exodus get coronavirus
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — San Francisco guitarist Gary Holt, who plays Slayer and Exodus, has been found to have a coronavirus, according to NME.
Holt previously wrote in his instagram that he was going to pass an analysis on COVID-19 on March 20, because on the eve he felt “unimportant.”
In the next post, which the musician deleted, he confirmed that the result obtained after 11 days was positive. By this time, most of the symptoms he had already passed.
Holt added that his wife Lisa’s analysis was negative.
“I feel great, in my life I had moments and more difficult, but now with my health everything is 100% normal. Thanks to everyone for the wishes of recovery. Now it’s time to start working out some new reefs for Exodus, because I hardly leave the house,” he wrote.
Before taking the test for coronavirus, Holt was on a tour in Europe with the groups Testament and Death Angel. After returning, some members of these teams also became infected with COVID-19 – Death Angel drummer Will Carroll and Testament vocalist Chuck Billy.
