US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Gold futures rose during the European session on Friday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery were trading at $ 1,510.15 a troy ounce at the time of writing, up 2.09%.
Earlier, the troy ounce was traded during a bullish dollar session. Gold was likely to find support at $ 1,450.90 and resistance at $ 1,574.80.
The Futures US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback against six other major currencies, fell 1.23% to trade at 102.328 dollars.
Elsewhere on Comex, May delivery rose 6.48% to trade at 12.920 dollars per troy ounce while Copper for May delivery increased 1.76% to trade at 2.224 dollars per pound.
