Gold futures fell during the US session

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Gold futures fell during the US session on Monday.

On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for June delivery were trading at $ 1,640.95 a troy ounce at the time of writing, down 0.79%.

Earlier, the troy ounce was traded during a dollar bearish session. Gold was likely to find support at 1,611.00 dollars and resistance at 1,699.30 dollars.

The Futures US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback against six other major currencies, rose 0.68% to trade at 99.210 dollars.

Elsewhere on Comex, delivery fell 2.80% to trade at 14.127 dollars a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery advanced 0.46% to trade at 2.162 dollars a pound.
