Foods that increase the risk of premature death

(ORDO NEWS) — Human health is more dependent on food. Scientists are constantly analyzing various foods to determine whether they are harmful or healthy. Many experts agreed that meat products only harm the body to a greater extent.

Experts from the National Cancer Institute and the US National Institutes of Health monitored 415,000 Americans from 1995 to 2011. Scientists have found out the food preferences of the respondents, the present state of their health and well-being.

As it turned out, the use of plant proteins significantly reduces the risk of premature death, while animal proteins only increase the risk of diseases, moreover, in some cases, fatal. Experts also recommend not to abuse eggs, because this is also a product of animal origin.

Experts emphasize that people who prefer plant foods are healthier: they have fewer heart and circulatory problems in general, said Victoria Taylor, head of nutrition at the British Heart Foundation.

Scientists have found that humans have a much longer esophagus than animals. Plus, we don’t have such a high level of acidity, so digesting meat food becomes difficult. Large amounts of meats will rot inside the esophagus, leading to health problems.

It is everyone’s business to completely abandon meat or just limit its consumption. In any case, do not eat too much meat food: it is better to diversify it with vegetable proteins.
