Flying taxis are tested in Germany

(ORDO NEWS) — Testing of flying taxis has begun in Germany. The vessels are called CityAirbus, they are remotely controlled and run on electricity, writes Travel and Leisure.

These taxis can carry up to four passengers at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour for a distance of up to 100 kilometers, without the need for a driver.

Each vessel is equipped with four propellers, they are practically silent.

The #CityAirbus demonstrator has performed its first fully automatic flight: take off, stabilisation in flight, and landing.
