(ORDO NEWS) — Bulgarian meteorologists recorded five temperature records in the country on Saturday. According to the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR), warm air masses dominate the eastern part of Bulgaria.
According to the BNR, in the city of Razgrad, the air warmed up to 20.1 degrees Celsius, 1.3 degrees higher than the record figure of 1950. 20 degrees was recorded in Burgas, with a record of 18.4 degrees in 1944.
New records were set in Varna – 19.6 degrees, in Shumen – 19.5 degrees, Dobrich – 17.8 degrees.
Forecasters in Bulgaria predict a rainy day on Sunday, a yellow level has been declared almost throughout the country, and an orange level of danger has been declared in some areas of the southern regions of Bulgaria.
On Monday the temperature will drop to zero degrees, snowfall is expected.
