Finland named the happiest country for the 5 year in a row
(ORDO NEWS) — According to the World Happiness Report 2022, Finland is the happiest country in the world. The state occupies this line for the fifth year in a row!
The top five happiest countries also include Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
The Happiness Report is commissioned by the United Nations (UN). In total, the study covers 146 countries. Six factors are used for the assessment: GDP per capita, social support, life expectancy, the freedom of citizens to make their own life decisions, generosity, and attitudes towards corruption. Each item is evaluated on a 10-point scale.
It is believed that Finland is taking the lead due to its proximity to nature, a safe living environment, and the availability of necessary services and facilities.
The top five were Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland and the Netherlands, while the top ten were Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Israel and New Zealand.
