Explosions and shooting are heard in the north of Kosovo

(ORDO NEWS) — Two explosions sounded near the city of Kosovska-Mitrovica, shooting for 15 minutes was recorded near the city of Zubin Potok. This was reported on Saturday by the Vecernje Novosti newspaper.

According to the publication, two explosions were recorded in the village of Zvechan, located a few kilometers from Kosovska Mitrovica.

At the same time, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, commenting on the situation in Kosovo, said: “I had no information about major clashes. I know that barricades were set up in two places in the Zubin Potok area, but people did it on their own initiative.”

The Serbian leader also stressed that Serbia will send a request to the International Mission under the auspices of NATO in Kosovo and Metohija (KFOR) for the deployment of security forces on the territory of Kosovo.
