Elon Musk installing a huge X on the headquarters of Twitter (𝕏)

(ORDO NEWS) — The city of San Francisco has launched an investigation into a giant “𝕏” sign placed atop a downtown building where Twitter is headquartered. Elon Musk is rebranding the social network, as a result of which a new logo 𝕏 appeared, replacing the legendary blue bird.

Previously, San Francisco police prevented workers from removing the bird and logo from the side of the building because appropriate security measures had not been put in place.

The city has now filed a case and is investigating the situation as any such replacement would require a permit to preserve the historic character of the building and ensure a secure anchorage.

Elon Musk’s fascination with the letter “X” is obvious: he has already renamed Twitter’s corporate name to X Corp. after acquiring the platform last year, with almost every one of its products featuring this letter, which only SpaceX deserves.
