(ORDO NEWS) — On Twitter, the head of the American company SpaceX, Elon Musk, unexpectedly wrote that he was working on the creation of specialized microchips that would significantly improve the interaction of people and electronics, as in films about cyborgs.

In addition, the American billionaire and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX have already announced their intention to combine the human brain with artificial intelligence several years ago.

He also founded Neuralink, which he said would be responsible for devising a way to achieve this goal. But analysts call the company secretive due to the lack of any new data.

The other day, Elon Musk said that on August 28 a certain statement will be published on the discoveries of the Neuralink mission marked “if you can not defeat them, join them.” However, no explanation was given.

Last year, Neuralink gave out information very poorly, but humanity could observe photographs of animals, with some technology coming straight from the head. This caused a storm of indignation on the part of animal rights organizations.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Neuralink will develop what Musk himself calls the “neural filament technology,” which is supposed to include the implantation of tiny electrodes into the human brain that can transmit data to the mind.

In 2019, new statements appeared that the company took a big step forward in the development of “threads”. According to reports, these threads will be a type of brain implant made from flexible material so as not to damage brain tissue.

This year, Musk urged people to calm down and said that technology would not “begin to capture the brains of people.” But he added that this will allow combining the mind with artificial intelligence, ordinary people will “leave behind” over time.

There is also a peer-reviewed scientific article written by Mr. Mask on Neuralink technology. The document says that brain implants will help restore feelings and movements in people affected by neurological disorders.

“We created arrays of small and flexible“ strands ”of electrodes: 3072 electrodes are distributed per array over 96 threads. We also created a neurosurgical robot capable of inserting six strands (192 electrodes) per minute. Each thread can be individually inserted into the brain to the nearest micron to avoid damage to the superficial vasculature and target specific areas of the brain. ”
