(ORDO NEWS) — Elon Musk’s company Neuralink, which develops brain implants to help paralyzed people in the first place, has posted a vacancy for the director of clinical trials.
This suggests that Neuralink is preparing to test implants directly on humans. Brain implants, or invasive neural interfaces, are chips that allow information to be exchanged between the brain and an external device.
No matter how fantastic it may sound, but, according to the concept, neural interfaces allow you to control objects with the power of thought.
The job description also states that the Director of Clinical Trials will be required to work closely with some of the most advanced physicians and leading engineers.
When exactly clinical trials of brain implants in humans should start is not specified.
