US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, denied reports of the death of the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. According to Dmitriev, Prince Abdullah is alive and a Russian official will soon meet with him in the UAE.
In turn, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash called “Qatari fakes” information about the attack on Abdullah bin Zayed.
“I spoke with Abdullah bin Zayed today, we laughed for a long time at the fakes created by Qatari accounts,” Gargash wrote on Twitter.
Earlier in social networks, a video of a car engulfed in flames was published with an explanation that the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed died in a terrorist attack.
In June 2017, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar, considering the authorities of the emirate as accomplices of terrorism. Qatar is in a transport blockade.
