(ORDO NEWS) — The launch of the SpaceX Crew-4 spacecraft to the International Space Station from Launch Complex 39A at NASA‘s Kennedy Space Center in Florida is scheduled for 07:52 GMT on Wednesday, April 27.
The 45th US Space Force Weather Squadron predicts a 90% chance of favorable weather conditions at the Crew-4 launch site based on Falcon 9 Crew Dragon launch weather criteria.
The main weather concerns in the launch area are cumulus clouds and flying during rain. Teams will also monitor weather conditions both in the launch area and at long range for the Crew Dragon flight.
NASA will provide coverage of upcoming pre-launch activities to send astronauts to the ISS. Pre-launch events will be streamed live on NASA TV, the NASA app, and the agency’s website.
