Coronavirus patients feel less pain and cold – scientists

(ORDO NEWS) — Specialists from the American University Appalachian State University conducted another study and found that those people who have had coronavirus do not perceive painful sensations and low air temperatures so much. At the moment, experts are studying how long this side effect lasts.

The study involved 30 people who were 21-22 years old. Some of them were infected with the coronavirus, while some were healthy. Experts were surprised by the results of the experiment. For three to eight weeks, COVID-19 patients did not perceive pain and cold as much as healthy volunteers.

In turn, experts from the United States say that it is necessary to additionally study this issue. It should also be borne in mind that the nervous system in some people may be much weaker. Do not forget about the presence of chronic diseases. These effects can cause a significant deterioration not only in well-being, but also in general health.
