Coronavirus epidemic: new symptom named Covid-19
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — In approximately 80% of cases, coronavirus behaves as an ARVI. Patients have fever, cough, nasal congestion without a runny nose and loss of smell. However, sometimes the infection progresses, causing serious inconvenience and scaring.
According to Randy Jacobs, a professor of dermatology at the University of California, Covid-19 is capable of causing redness and rashes on the skin. One man has already been hospitalized with redness throughout the body and hematuria (blood in the urine).
Jacobs’ colleague reported that his patient had redness for about twenty minutes, and then began to retreat. Similar symptoms appear due to blockage of small vessels. Something like tiny bruises appears immediately on the body.
It’s too early to say that coronavirus has skin problems. Perhaps these are isolated cases. All facts must be analyzed and verified.
