China may impose sanctions against US due to coronavirus charges

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Before our eyes, a rather interesting picture unfolds: if the United States last year only engaged in the “persecution” of China, imposing sanctions against the same Huawei, now exactly the opposite is happening.

So, judging by the available data, China may impose sanctions against the United States because of charges related to the coronavirus.

Recall, just recently, a fresh bill on liability for COVID-19 was introduced in the US Senate, which spoke about sanctions against China for the spread of coronavirus. And, apparently, China will answer this sharply and decisively: “China will respond not only symbolically, it will take countermeasures that will be painful for them ,” said sources in the Global Times, which published material on the sanctions imposed by China.

Thus, among the “candidates” who may ultimately be subject to sanctions, there is also Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, who, in turn, filed a lawsuit against China, accusing the country of a coronavirus pandemic.
