
Canadian Air Force crashes in British Columbia
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The plane of the Canadian Air Force aerobatic team Snowbirds (Snegiri – ed.) Crashed near the city of Kamloops in the province of British Columbia , the fate of the crew is unknown, the country’s air force said.
“The Canadian Royal Air Force has learned that a Canadian Snowbirds aircraft crashed in the vicinity of (city – Ed.) Kamloops, British Columbia. Our current priority is to determine the condition of the personnel and support personnel of emergency services,” said in Canadian Air Force statement on Twitter.
Kamloops Airport on Twitter reported that emergency services and rescue aircraft departed for the crash site.
An eyewitness told Global News that the plane crashed almost immediately after takeoff. According to him, the pilot ejected.
