US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fiancée Carrie Symonds had a son.
Johnson’s official introduce told the mother and the newborn are feeling very well. Earlier in the prime minister’s office reported that Johnson and Symonds were expecting a baby in early summer.
In April, Johnson was seriously ill with a coronavirus. He spent a week in the hospital, including several days in the intensive care unit. After discharge, he admitted that he was close to death, and went to restore health to a suburban residence near London.
It was not until April 27 that he returned to his premiership. Symonds said that she had all the symptoms characteristic of COVID-19, but she did not pass the test and recovered in a week.
Johnson and Symonds announced their engagement in early March – after he reached an agreement on the terms of the divorce with Marina Wheeler.
The politician was married to her since 1993, the couple has four children. Since June last year, the 55-year-old politician and his 32-year-old girlfriend have been living on 10 Downing Street, in the official residence of the prime minister.
