British pensioner finds a seal in her garden

(ORDO NEWS) — One of the residents of Great Britain found a seal in her garden. It should be borne in mind that the woman’s house is located about 32 kilometers from the sea. The animal lay on the grass and basked in the sun until it was returned back to the reservoir by representatives of the animal welfare society.

Ann Page goes out to her garden every morning, but one day she was met there by an unusual guest. The pensioner thought what she imagined and went back into the house. But when she returned back to the garden, the seal did not disappear anywhere. The woman was extremely surprised by what was happening, because it was necessary to drive 32 kilometers to the North Sea.

For help, the pensioner turned to Martin Green, who works as a local police officer. An employee of the RSPCA also took part in the transportation of the animal. As it was possible to establish, the animal turned out to be a seal, which was rescued 4 years ago together with six cubs. She was then named Dandy. 

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the seal tries to get to know people. Several times she was noticed fishing in different parts of the river, but employees from the animal welfare service repeatedly returned the animal home on time.

Seals have a rather attractive appearance, but do not forget that this is a wild animal. If you suddenly find a seal in your garden, you do not need to try to catch it yourself. It is better to seek help from specialists who can do this professionally and not harm the animal.
