Brent crude oil exceeded $ 32 per barrel

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — For the first time since April 14, the price of Brent North Sea oil futures rose above $ 32 per barrel.

The price of July futures as of 00:49 GMT rose by 17.9% – up to $ 32.06 per barrel.

Futures for WTI crude oil with delivery in June as of 00:54 GMT rose in price by 24.28%, to $ 25.34.

Oil prices on world markets began to rise on the morning of Friday, May 1, against the backdrop of the entry into force of a new OPEC + agreement to reduce raw material production. Production is reduced by almost 10 million barrels per day.

In late April, OPEC predicted price increases of up to $ 40. The organization expects this level of value by mid-2020.
