US, NEW YORK (ORDO NEWS) — US President Donald Trump has said that Americans’ right to free speech is under threat.
“Free speech is under attack like never before,” Trump said, speaking in Texas.
Social media blocked the accounts of Trump and tens of thousands of his supporters after the riots in Washington.
On January 6, Trump, at a rally near the White House, urged supporters to go to the Capitol to “help weak Republicans” challenge the election results. A crowd of Trump supporters laid siege to the US Capitol , broke into the building and interrupted the joint session of Congress, where they claimed the victory of Joe Biden in the presidential elections. Members of Congress were evacuated to a safe place, where they remained in cramped quarters for several hours.
