US, NEW YORK (ORDO NEWS) — Powerful 6.8 magnitude earthquake hits Arkhy, Afghanistan.
An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 was recorded in Afghanistan on Tuesday. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
According to it, the epicenter was located 48 km southwest of the city of Ishkashim with a population of more than 12 thousand people.
