BREAKING: Biden ordered to prepare plans for striking IS militants
US, NEW YORK (ORDO NEWS) — The US Armed Forces will prepare plans to strike at the positions of the Islamic State in Khorana, an offshoot of the Islamic State terrorist organization, after it carried out explosions in the capital of Afghanistan. This was announced on Thursday by US President Joe Biden, speaking at the White House with an appeal in connection with the terrorist attack in Kabul.
“I also ordered my military leaders to develop operational plans for striking targets and the leadership of IS in Khorana. We will respond with force and precision at the time and place that we choose, and at the moment that we choose.” – said the head of state.
The US President believes that the Taliban did not help IS militants in organizing a terrorist attack in Kabul and will not assist them in the future.
“So far, there is no evidence <…> that there was a conspiracy between the Taliban and IS to implement what happened today <…> and what is expected to continue in the future.” he said.
