(ORDO NEWS) — A new online “profession” has made headlines in the Brazilian media. Attractive women will try to seduce clients’ husbands and then provide proof of their fidelity.
Brazilian Loyalty Inspectors have become very popular on social media. They are usually young attractive women who charge between $4 and $30 to test men’s loyalty to their wives or girlfriends online and then provide proof to their clients.
Testing usually involves contacting them via messenger or simply pretending to have received their contacts from a mutual friend.
They take screenshots of conversations with their marks, any photos they send, and then pass it all on to their partners as proof of their loyalty or lack thereof.
Nicolli, a 22-year-old loyalty inspector interviewed by Universa UOL, had just given birth and was out of work when she was first approached by a woman to test her husband’s fidelity. It was this first experience that made her realize that there was a real demand for such a service.
“She wrote to me that she thought I was very beautiful and that I was her husband’s type,” recalls Nicolli.
“She said she was very suspicious of him because he had already cheated a few times, so she wanted me to pester him to see if he would buy into it.”
The young woman pretended to send a message to the woman’s husband by mistake and then struck up a conversation that soon led to a face-to-face meeting.
She took screenshots of their messages, sent them to a client who sent her a generous reward for her efforts.
Nicollie talked about her experience on TikTok and was soon approached by other women with similar requests. Today, she earns between $800 and $1,000 checking men’s loyalty online.
Stephanie Lara, 20, from Curitiba, is another loyalty inspector who has started offering loyalty check services to help women end toxic relationships. She claims that about six out of ten men will accept her advances and fail the test.
“I don’t think a test will prove 100% whether a person is loyal or not,” Stephanie said.
“But I think it helps a lot to figure out what the intentions of those on our side are.
A lot of women just need enough proof to get away.”
Yasmin, 19, has been working as a loyalty inspector for about a year, but she has already learned the dark side of this new online profession.
One day, the man she was testing looked through his girlfriend’s phone and found out what was going on. He contacted her and threatened to find her and take revenge.
She feared for her life, but the couple managed to settle their differences and the man stopped looking for her. However, she has since stopped turning down requests to test men from the same city.
Recently, loyalty inspectors have begun to diversify their services. Some offer to test potential suitors and let you know if they are worth spending time and feelings on.
In addition, there are clients who ask loyalty inspectors to check other women’s husbands so that if unsuccessful, they can send evidence to their wives to separate them and presumably take the wife’s place.
