Bloomberg: DPRK source refutes rumors of Kim Jong-un’s death

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — North Korea denies rumors about the death of Kim Jong-un, previously appeared in a number of news media. According to Bloomberg, the 38 North monitoring group received images of a special train of the North Korean leader standing on the tracks near the resort complex on the east coast of the peninsula.

This is a private complex in Wonsan and, most likely, Kim Jong-un can be located here. The train arrived at the place on April 21. During April 23, he was still present on satellite imagery.

Earlier it was reported that a group of Chinese doctors had been sent to the DPRK to consult Kim Jong-un. For several weeks, the leader of the country allegedly underwent surgical treatment due to heart problems. So, on April 15, he was not at the celebration of the birthday of the founder of the state, Kim Il Sung. April 11, he was not present at the meeting of the Politburo.

Information about serious illness and even death of Kim Jong-un is refuted by sources such as Alejandro Cao de Benos, head of the Friendship Association of Korea. “Information about the serious health conditions of our Marshal Kim Jong-un is false and malicious,” said Cao de Benos.

The health of the North Korean leader is one of the most carefully guarded secrets in the state, known to only a few of his entourage. Against the background of rumors of his illness, some media began to speculate about a possible successor. Among the candidates, Kim Jong-un’s sister, Kim Yo Jung, is primarily named.
