Biden promised not to forgive Trump for his “crimes” in the presidency
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Candidate for the post of the US chapter of the Democratic Party and Vice President Joe Biden has promised that will not forgive the current American leader Donald Trump no crime, if they are found in his actions, according to the publication Politico.
“I undertake <…> the US Attorney General is not the president’s lawyer,” Biden said, answering a journalist’s question about the possible “pardon” of Donald Trump.
In American history, the pardon by the head of the United States of his predecessor happened once: Gerald Ford freed from persecution of former President Richard Nixon in 1974, who was accused of organizing illegal wiretapping of the office of the Democratic Party.
The election of the US president should be held on November 3, 2020. Citizens of the United States will elect the head of state for the 46th time.
According to surveys, currently 51% of Americans are ready to support Joe Biden’s candidacy, 46% of voters are for Donald Trump.
