(ORDO NEWS) — The joint robotic space mission of the European Space Agency and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency BepiColombo is preparing for the second approach to Mercury.
It will take place tomorrow, June 23rd. The ESA Space Shuttle Operations Team guides BepiColombo through the planet’s six gravitational assistants before entering its orbit in 2025.
BepiColombo will pass at an altitude of about 200 kilometers above the surface of Mercury and, during the approach of the space probe camera, will photograph the surface of the planet.
