(ORDO NEWS) — Artificial intelligence is everywhere these days, and the humble stroller industry is no exception. Canadian stroller maker Glüxkind is about to release the world‘s most advanced artificial intelligence baby stroller.
First unveiled at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Glüxkind Ella is a technological marvel.
Calling it a stroller sounds a bit unfair considering it’s more of a high-tech device that can rock your baby on its own, assist the user on ascents and descents, and constantly keep an eye on the surroundings with an array of sensors and cameras.
At first glance, it may seem like a regular stroller, but in fact, Ella is a small battery-powered vehicle equipped with artificial intelligence.
The development company offers an adaptive push and stop assistance system that makes it easy to overcome climbs and descents, even if the bottom compartment of the stroller is full of products.
The autonomous capabilities of the stroller allow it to move without control while the parent communicates with the child.
It uses a set of built-in 360-degree sensors to detect the pavement, move along it and avoid obstacles, while remaining at arm’s length from the user, determining the proximity of his smartphone.
When the baby is inside, Ella can be put into Rock My Baby Mode by gently moving back and forth on her own.
To make it easier for the baby to fall asleep, the stroller is equipped with a built-in white noise generator.
A three-hour battery charge is reportedly enough for approximately six hours of use.
The stroller can be paired with Android and Apple smartphones, as well as controlled by GPS, so you can always track its location.
If the ultimate AI stroller seems like a dream come true, you’ll have to wait a few more months to get it.
You also need to make a down payment of $200 for one stroller and be prepared to shell out at least $3,800 for a base model. The presentation of the miracle stroller is scheduled for April.
