Axiom-1 mission astronaut talks about the worst part of SpaceX’s flight to the ISS

(ORDO NEWS) — More than four months have passed since SpaceX launched the first commercial space tourist mission to the International Space Station as part of the space company Axiom Space’s Axiom-1 expedition.

The crew of three wealthy entrepreneurs and one retired NASA astronaut had plenty of time to reflect on the unique experience, especially when it comes to the pros and cons of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft.

“The Best and Worst of Ax-1?” tweeted expedition commander Michael Eladio Lopez-Alegria, the aforementioned retired astronaut who, by the way, holds the American record for the number of spacewalks.

“The best thing is to listen to my teammates see the Earth for the first time.” The worst is the “toilet”.

During the flight, the tube that sends the urine into the container broke, officials said, and the liquid splattered all over the area under the spacecraft’s floor panels.
