(ORDO NEWS) —
October 3: NASA and SpaceX will launch the Crew-5 mission to the International Space Station. NASA astronauts Nicole Mann, Josh Kassada, Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata and Russian cosmonaut Anna Kikina will be on board the Crew Dragon.
The Falcon 9 rocket will take off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 19:45 Moscow time.
October 8: The Draconids meteor shower, which is active from October 6 to 10, will peak during the night.
October 9: The October full moon, known as the Hunter’s Moon, occurs at 20:55 GMT.
October 15: The Cygnus cargo ship lifts off to the International Space Station from pad 0A on Wallops Island, Virginia aboard a Northrop Grumman Antares rocket.
October 20-21: The annual Orionid meteor shower, which is active throughout the month, peaks during the night.
October 25: New Moon occurs at 10:48 GMT.
October 25: A partial solar eclipse will be visible from Europe, northern Africa, the Middle East and western Asia.

The Falcon Heavy rocket will launch the USSF 52 mission for the US Space Force. It will take off from pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Dragon 2 spacecraft to resupply the International Space Station.
The Chinese Long March 5B rocket will launch the third main element of the Chinese space station, the Mengtian laboratory module, into orbit.
