US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Apple has published a report on the results of the second fiscal quarter of the year, which ended March 28, 2020. It follows that the company lost a portion of its revenue from iPhone sales.
In general, Apple reports revenue growth of 1% compared with a year earlier – up to $ 58.3 billion. At the same time, revenue from iPhone sales fell by 6.7%. However, the drop in sales revenue affected not only Apple smartphones, but also other devices: Mac (-3%), iPad (-10%).
However, sales of the segment, which includes Apple Watch and AirPods, rose 22.5%. Divisions with Apple services also grew by 16.6%.
The head of the company, Tim Cook, explained that Apple secured growth for the quarter, thanks to record levels in the services sector and quarterly sales results of wearable devices.
