(ORDO NEWS) — An Inca-era tomb has been discovered under a residential building in the center of Peru’s capital, Lima, Reuters reported, citing a group of archaeologists who were excavating.
Excavations in the area of ​​San Juan de Lurigancho began in May. According to experts, the nobility rests in the tomb, since the remains are wrapped in cloth, and ceramic products and various decorations are placed next to them.
In addition, many funeral bundles tightly wrapped in cloth were found at the burial site.
