An incredibly powerful particle of antimatter flew into Antarctica

(ORDO NEWS) — Scientists have made official confirmation that an incredibly powerful particle of antimatter entered Antarctica in 2016.

As a result of this event, a cascading effect arose, which experts call the Glashow resonance. It should be noted that this phenomenon requires a huge amount of energy. It cannot be obtained in the required quantity even if the most powerful particle accelerators are used.

It took researchers more than four years to confirm the fact of the Glashow resonance. At the same time, scientists have been waiting for this effect for a long time.

During the Glashow resonance, a neutrino slams into an electron of enormous energy. As a result, a particle appears, which is called W-bo. It is worth noting that this generates approximately 450 times more energy than the upgraded Large Hadron Collider can produce.

In order to be able to record such phenomena, scientists have to wait a lot and at the same time carefully observe what is happening. This is the only way to miss those incredible phenomena that sometimes can be realized in nature.
