US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Tremors were recorded in North Korea on April 3. It is reported by KBS with reference to representatives of the South Korean Meteorological Service.
According to published data, an earthquake of 2.2 points occurred at 19:44 local time, 8 km east-northeast of the city of Sonnim, located on the Tongan River in Hwanhee-Putco province.
“This earthquake has a natural origin,” representatives of the South Korean Meteorological Service said.
Recall that the last earthquake in North Korea occurred on January 29, 41 km northwest of the Kilju county of Hamgyong-Pukto province.
