Amazon is already selling tons of books written by AI
(ORDO NEWS) — In 2023, anyone can become an author without even lifting a finger.
Books created using AI text generators are starting to flood Amazon. This is a natural development of a massive surge of interest in this technology.
As of February, Amazon’s Kindle e-book store had more than 200 e-books listed as authored by the ChatGPT text generator some selling for as little as $1 but the actual number is likely much higher, according to the report, as of February.
People can use AI without disclosing this fact. Getting an accurate accurate estimate of the number of these kinds of books is nearly impossible right now, as apps designed to detect AI-generated text still make mistakes and don’t always work correctly.
