(ORDO NEWS) — Earlier, Yoana Banda revealed on TikTok that she was “pumping iron” while pregnant.
She later said that she put on so much weight during her pregnancy that her daughter ended up being born with big “muscles.”
The woman performed various exercises, including hip thrusts and bench presses.
“When you keep lifting weights throughout your pregnancy and your baby comes out of the womb with muscles,” she wrote over the video.
Then the mother showed what her newborn daughter looked like. The baby had well-defined muscles on the shoulder.
Many users went to the comments section, where one person exclaimed, “This kid is stronger than me.”
Another agreed: “The shoulders are better than mine,” and the third joked: “The child is Hercules.”
Some people wondered if lifting weights during pregnancy was “safe”?
Yoana insisted that her workouts were “safe”.
She replied, “Absolutely! I asked midwives, doctors and did my own research.”
Another user shared a warning saying, “Only do this if your body is used to going to the gym. Do not start if you are pregnant.”
Yoana replied: “Totally agree! It can be dangerous to start exercising while pregnant.”
