(ORDO NEWS) — The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has reported an increase in the incidence of a new subspecies of the omicron strain of the XVV coronavirus.
Reportedly, last week the penetration rate of the new variant was 11.2%, this week it is 18.3%. CVV accounts for more than half of the cases in the northeastern United States.
Experts expect that due to the festive intensity of travel around the country, the incidence will increase even more.
