(ORDO NEWS) — In England, a man challenged and plunged into the toxic waters of the so-called blue lagoon – an abandoned limestone quarry near the British city of Buxton in the county of Derbyshire, which became a popular tourist attraction. It is reported by Derbyshire Live.
A photo of a man who neglected warning signs at a reservoir and a preventive conversation with an officer of the fire and rescue service was published on Twitter.
“Despite the friendly conversation of one of our prevention specialists, this man nevertheless decided that swimming in black poisonous water was possible,” the service’s tweet said. The officer who tried to stop the man was abused by him.
On March 31, it was reported that the famous blue lagoon was repainted black to stop the flow of bloggers quarantining for photos.
After receiving reports of a massive violation of the ban, Buxton police poured ink into the quarry. The former quarry is a toxic dump. It rotts old cars, animal corpses, and the water has become toxic, which is why it has acquired an unusual turquoise color.
