(ORDO NEWS) — A man has been arrested in the United States for setting fire to a house under construction that his boss was going to buy. It is reported by the New York Post.
Thanh Ha, 54, from St. Petersburg, Florida, was arrested after he was identified on video footage from the scene.
On May 3, a man rode a bicycle up to an unfinished house and got inside, trying to cover his face with clothes from CCTV cameras. Five minutes later, Ha ran out of the building and left quickly. Soon the building was engulfed in flames.
After the arrest, the American said that he had no complaints against his leadership, and arranged the arson “at the behest of the spirits.” A man who was going to buy a damaged house identified his employee on video recordings.
Ha is now in custody on charges of arson, he has been assigned a bail of $10,000 (556,800 rubles).
Earlier it was reported that in Thailand a woman was tired of her boss’s chicanery and set fire to her workplace. It was possible to identify the disgruntled employee by recording CCTV cameras.
