9 new cases are registered with Covid-19 in Albania
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — There are 9 new cases with Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in Albania.
“During the last 24 hours, 245 people suspected of COVID-19 have been tested from north to south and only in two municipalities we have been affected, where respectively in Tirana we have 5 people who have tested positive and in Kruja we have 4 affected.” said Dr. Rovena Daja from the Institute of Public Health.
In total, the number of infected went to 782 people.
There are currently 263 active Covid-19 patients in the country.
While the number of people healed has gone to 488 healed.
Facilitation of measures – Despite the fact that from Monday there will be another facilitation of measures, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection calls on all citizens to continue to respect physical distance and maintain personal hygiene. It is very important to observe these measures, because until we have a definite vaccine or treatment, vigilance should be maximal.
Green map expands – Looking at the data, currently the epidemiological situation in our country is stable. The map of the healed has been expanded across the country. For this reason, in addition to areas that have been untouched by COVID 19, the map of green areas has been expanded, even with those municipalities that currently pose a lower risk of transmitting the infection.
N s hospitals – Currently in our country are 263 active patients COVID19 and most of them were followed by a family doctor or are asymptomatic, while currently two Covida hospitals, the Hospital of Infectious Diseases and Hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi” are paved 33 patients and only 7 of them are in intensive care. This is an indication that the measures taken have made it possible for the health system not to be overloaded and to successfully cope with cases that have needed specialized treatment in hospitals.
Death – So far 31 citizens have lost the battle with this disease, despite the efforts of medical staff.
