US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Singapore authorities quarantined about 20,000 migrant workers to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the Associated Press reported on April 5.
According to Singapore’s medical officials, the number of detected cases of COVID-19 per day increased by 120, which is a record since the outbreak. A day earlier, on April 4, 75 new cases were reported.
The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Singapore to date has been 1309, six people have died from the disease.
